Partnering with The Brain Charity

The Good Care Group (TGCG) is excited to share that we have formed a partnership with The Brain Charity. This charity was chosen, as we resonated with their mission to enable all those affected by neurological conditions to live longer, healthier, happier lives. We also have a number of dedicated, brave and creative people at TGCG, who are undertaking individual efforts in fundraising and charity support who would be passionate about making an impact on such a good cause.

Jane Pritchard, our Consultant Admiral Nurse:

“I’m delighted that TGCG is supporting this great cause. The Brain Charity provides outstanding services to the local community, and we are proud to play our part in supporting them with their work.”

About the Brain Charity

The Brain Charity supports people with neurological conditions, aiding them to have a better quality of life. There are over 600 known neurological conditions, affecting the brain, spine or nervous system. They champion neurodiversity and are the only UK organisation which provides specialist support to people with any neurological condition, and their families, friends and carers.

This is achieved in a number of ways, including but not limited to:

  • Information and advice – over the phone or online.
  • Emotional support – free courses and counselling.
  • Social activities – art, music and sports.
  • The Neuro Gym – free gym in Liverpool, offering free physiotherapy appointments.

Fundraising Opportunities

There is a range of fundraising opportunities that we plan to get involved with, including Tough Mudder, marathons and bike rides. We look forward to working together to raise funds to help people with neurological conditions to live a happier life. Watch this space.
