The Good Care Group launch MS support service with MS Society

The Good Care Group is proud to announce the introduction of our flexible multiple sclerosis (MS) home care service, created in in partnership with the MS Society, the UK’s leading charity supporting people with MS.

The Good Care Group is proud to announce the introduction of our flexible multiple sclerosis (MS) home care service, created in in partnership with the MS Society, the UK’s leading charity supporting people with MS.

We understand that many people with MS lead independent lives and do not need full time care, which is why we made our home support service as flexible and personalised as possible. Our support is available for as long or as little as necessary – we offer everything from a three day respite service to 24 hour round the clock support. Our flexible holiday service enables you to enjoy a well deserved trip – taking your carer with you, or allowing a family carer to take a much needed break.

All of our multiple sclerosis home carers are given in-depth training delivered by the MS Society, and have previous experience of working with people who have MS, to ensure that they fully understand the condition. They can provide temporary or permanent practical, emotional and social support, all on a friendly, personalised, one to one basis. When starting the service, each of our clients receives a comprehensive assessment from an assessor, who will create a personalised assistance plan and match them to a carer who not only meets their needs, but also shares their interests – again, ensuring that the support provided is tailored to the requirements and preferences of each individual.

Ultimately we believe that our new multiple sclerosis home care service will help our clients to live with enhanced quality of life, whilst retaining all of the independence and control that they desire. For more information, please visit our multiple sclerosis page.
