Age Concern Mole Valley and TGCG

The Good Care Group is proud to be supporting Age Concern Mole Valley’s befriending service this Christmas.

Age Concern Mole Valley has been caring and supporting vulnerable and isolated older people throughout the district of Mole Valley for over 75 years. They are an independent local charity, responsible for their own funding and services.

In 2020, Age Concern Mole Valley were unable to bring their befriending clients together at Christmas due to the pandemic, so decided to bring a little Christmas joy with a present.

This year The Good Care Group have donated boxes of chocolates that will be sent out to Age Concern Mole Valley’s clients. Age Concern Mole Valley and The Good Care Group hope this small act of kindness will mean their clients feel less alone, knowing they are thought of at this festive time of year.

Age Concern need your help so they can continue to offer their much loved and valued services to vulnerable and isolated older people in Mole Valley. If you would like to participate, please visit www.ageconcernmolevalley.org.uk to make a donation. Your donations will go towards sustaining their Befriending Service, which helps older people to feel less alone and isolated.

Here is some feedback from their clients:
“My volunteer befriender has made such a difference to me and is a really important part of my life now. I always look forward to our meetings and feel better after I’ve seen her.”

“It was worth the wait for the right person. My befriender is so kind and we get on so well despite us only knowing each other for a short time. We can talk for England”
